This horrific decision marked his complete descent into corruption, freeing him to pursue wealth and stripping him of all moral restraint. Each new treasure he acquired deepened his isolation, transforming him into the embodiment of greed, his soul hollowed out by his insatiable desires.\n\nAs he stood on the now silent battlefield, surrounded by the spoils that brought no joy, he felt nothing. Was this endless acquisition truly the path to redemption, or had he become the very monster he sought to destroy?",
